You are invited to join the COS Family Camping ministry which holds 2 camping weekends each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. We gather for a relaxed weekend filled with great food, camping fun and a wonderful worship experience with communion in an outdoor setting.
The weekends are typically held at R. Shaefer Heard Campground, an Army Corps of Engineers park on West Point Lake about 65 miles south west of Peachtree City. All the sites are paved, have electric and water, some have extra tent pads. Click here for directions and a map to the Campground.
It does not matter if you have a tent or a big rig, you are invited to join us. If you are interested, the dates for the fall camping weekend are October 19-21, at
R. Shaefer Heard at West Point Lake Sites 85-106 (overflow use 107-117). Reservations are open so don’t delay, reserve your site now at www.recreation.gov.
