Calling all campers! Maybe you’ve been camping for years. Or maybe you’ve always dreamed of getting into camping but haven’t ever tried. Either way, this is the group for you! Our COS camping ministry hosts organized camping events twice a year, in the spring and the fall, at our beautiful and very nearby R. Shaefer Heard Campground just about an hour south in West Point Lake. There is plenty of time for food, fun, and fellowship with some shared meals and other activities including a very special outdoor worship time on Saturday. Then there is also time for just “getting away from it all” and enjoying God’s fantastic creation. All types of campers are welcome – tents, campers and RV’s. Get out and enjoy it all!
It doesn’t matter if you have a Class A rig, a tent or something in-between. Just reserve your site, then come for the weekend. We want you to enjoy the fun, fellowship, food and worship! Hope to see you at the lake. For more information, please contact COS Camping Ministry Coordinator, Sara Turk [email protected]
