Where are we in the Call process?
 The parties and celebrations for Pastor John and Ginnie Weber have passed and one chapter has ended for COS.  A new chapter has begun with the arrival of Interim Senior Pastor David and Bonita Johnson.  The Congregational Mission Profile (see left tab to view) was submitted to the Synod early September, so we now are full swing into the call process.  The Synod will be looking nationally for potential candidates matching our profile.  Candidates will be sent 1 to 3 at a time to be considered.  A Prayer Campaign for the congregation is underway with new prayer prompts weekly.   Pray for God to prepare us and sanctify us for what He will call us to do.  
Know a pastor who would be terrific for COS?
Submit their name to the Call Committee.  The name will be forwarded to Rev. Beverly Wallace in the Bishop's office.  She will look into their background, current status and whether they are available for a call.  Then the Call Committee will be given the go ahead to consider them.
